About Crawfish Bros

The Spark

It all began with two brothers from the heart of New Orleans, where the best seafood—like fresh crawfish and blue crab—often comes from the local corner store. Growing up surrounded by bold Louisiana flavors and family boils, they dreamed of bringing that authentic cajun experience to California. What started as backyard gatherings turned into a vision for Crawfish Bros—a spot dedicated to quality, farm-to-table seafood, including live crawfish, run by siblings who knew the bayou's bounty inside out.

The Grind

For years, the brothers traveled between Louisiana and California, forging strategic partnerships with local crawfish farms in Louisiana for direct sourcing of live crawfish. They mastered sustainable practices to ensure farm-to-table freshness year-round—especially during California season, where they’re the only ones in the business delivering blue crab and crawfish straight from the fields. Their hands-on hustle built a state-of-the-art processing plant, guaranteeing that every shipment of live crawfish and crab was top-quality.

The Launch

In 2016, California Crawfish—the brothers' first venture—opened its doors in California, starting small with coolers of live crawfish from Louisiana (January-July) and local fields (July-October), alongside offerings of blue crab. The first boil sold out, with customers raving about the fattier, roe-rich California catch and the authentic cajun flavors. Building on this foundation of success, Crawfish Bros proudly launched in 2026, expanding the family legacy with even more direct farm-to-table excellence, New Orleans traditions, and a wider variety of seafood options including crab.
